We had a case come inside the other night at about 0200hrs. It was a man who had been fairly a celebrity in his younger days. Our client seemed very frightened but he continued to smile and walked a bit faster. As soon as he was close to the flats the crowd disbursed and our client was cost-free to walk where he wanted to.
We had sufficient film to give to the police. The Police were quite valuable; they said that as opposed to him struggling to get past the crowd they would send a WPC or a Social worker to call for him. Our client was delighted as he would also have some company now.
